"Now the word create came from the word baurau, which does not mean to create out of nothing;
It means to organize; the same as a man would organize materials and build a ship.
Hence, we infer that God had materials to organize the world out of chaos—chaotic
matter, which is element, and in which dwells all the glory.
Element had
an existence from the time he had.
The pure principles of element are
principles which can never be destroyed; they may be organized and
re-organized, but not destroyed.
They had no beginning, and can have no
end.”
(Smith, Teachings, 350–52)
The purpose of this blog is to explore the "materials" in my environment and try to put them together in order to compose something meaningful and uplifting.
Mostly, I will be posting quotes, articles and videos exploring one idea or another. Below each posted item, I will include my own ideas and thoughts on the matter.
I hope that you enjoy this blog, and are able to take a little something from it and incorporate it into whatever it is that you seek to create.

I love this doctrine! Energy just is, it can not be created or destroyed! This principle teaches me that there is so much to this life that we cannot and do not understand. Only Heavenly Father understands it all and we are totally dependent on Him. Remembering this keeps me humble. I am grateful for the reminder that God is in control. I am grateful to be His Child!
ReplyDeleteCheylynn,
ReplyDeleteThank you for your insights. I am in love with the idea that God has provided everything that we need. It is all around us. All we have to do is ask for direction and get to work! It is humbling to remember that He has given us all that we need, and that He is committed to helping us.
